                                     Unit 46 – P3

a) Setting up appropriate equipment

We used a camera, tripod and a shoulder mount to record the footage. We set up the equipment outside near the college; it was a 5-minute walk around and carried It in appropriate carrying bags. We then got there and set it up in appropriate locations where the lighting will be good and the equipment has no risks of falling or being damaged. We had Isaac hold and use the camera. He also set up the tripod and made sure that it was on properly. He also used the shoulder mount for some of the shots we needed. There were no difficulties with the equipment and everything was in place.

b) Following script

We completely changed from the script and went with a different idea entirely. We decided to scrap the idea of dancing with a girl whilst being drunk. We decided not to do this as it was too close to the original music video. We wanted to come up with a innovative music video that we can be proud of. We came up with the idea of dealing with the issue of alcoholism and the problems that it can have in a individuals life. We highlighted him being a alcoholic as he is drinking by himself ad in the end is passed out completely. 

c) Following safe working practices 



We followed the risk assessment entirely making sure that we didn’t risk either ourselves or the equipment we brought along with us. We made sure to record in open spaces where there could be no damage to us. We made sure the weather was good so there could be no risk of slipping or damage to equipment. We kept liquids away from the equipment just in case of spillage. We also made sure to keep equipment away from the grass just in case it is unstable.








                                                                                                   

d) Following production process

We all had different jobs when planning everything. I was in charge of doing the treatment and making sure that it looked good and had relevant information on it. Isaac did the script. Alex did the location recces too. I also did the risk assessments so we could cover all the risks that could take place.
I edited it individually and used Adobe Premiere Pro to do it. I also used Adobe Animation to complete a title sequence at the start just to add a different element to the video. I used Premiere to add different effects to the video and make it look professional and interesting.
